 The
Financial Planning Association of Nevada provides on-going financial
education to the people of Nevada. All workshops are provided without fee by
Certified Financial Planning™ practitioners and other related strategic
professional volunteers.
Over the past several years, the
Financial Planning Association of Nevada has partnered with WestCare-Nevada,
Shade Tree, and others, providing a series of workshops which were designed
to help persons in need establish a sense of financial planning, goal
setting, and budgeting.
 This
past year, the Financial Planning Association of Nevada and the Barbara
Greenspun WomensCare Center of Excellence worked together to again provide
help to Las Vegas area residents in a free series of stand-alone
presentations on how to get your finances in shape. The program, Fiscally
Fit, included: Introduction to Financial Planning, Investment Basics &
Retirement Planning, and Risk Management & Insurance, and What Every Woman
Should Know About Social Security.
The Financial Planning Association of
Nevada plans to provide additional financial educational presentations in
